On the 16'th of june 1994 I got a phone call I will never forget. It was Helena Strömbert who called to let me know that the pup i ordered was born the same day. In a litter of five she was the only bitch and she was a tricolour. Faith, or what?!

Helena sent photos and videotapes of my little girl and you can guess just how much I longed for her?! Almost eight weeks later, and lots of phone calls, I met the sweetest and most adorable cutie I've ever seen. She fell into my arms and slept like a boa constrictor around my neck all the way home. We stopped at a famous hamburger bar and Alida ate french fries standing on the table. I seriously suspect that this was the start of her big desire for food in all shapes and forms...

Little Alida is a lady that has us all wrapped around her little toes if she wants.
She is cute and she knows it!

When Alida was just two years and one week she became a Swedish Campion in very hard competition and we are very proud of that. These days she's not shown very often but she's seen once a year at the Swedish Specialty, succesfully competing in the veteran and Best Yodeler classes.

She has had some success in the Show ring winning Best In Show and several CC's and cacibs as a younger dog. The reason Alida isn't shown very much is because she just isn't a big fan of the ring. She is not the showiest dog I've owned...

Along with my younger sister she has had a lot of sucesses and won many prizes in Junior Handling. Then she is showing off!

Little Lida is a quite hot tempered lady with lots of strong will but is never mean to people, especially not children whom she adores. Dogs on the other hand isn't appreciated at all and she is not standing off to a big Rottweiler. I guess that's was happens when you grow up with a pack of Dobermanns, she has no idea how small she really is...
