Kenya is my dream puppy who finally became a reality. She was born in the middle of all New Years celebrations together with her two siblings, Kevin och Holley. Already when she came as pup number two it was love at first sight. To be honest, I cried when the first puppy came, it was a girl and I had planned and dreamed of this for so long. But when Kenya came it was as if I only knew, this was my puppy. My brain told me to wait before I decided, but my heart said something completely different...

Kenya is a happy, outgoing, mischievious little girl who thinks that most things in life are wonderful. She yodels when she's happy, runs around most of the time and snores loudly when she's asleep. In other words our life is filled with activities these days.

Kenya started her show carreer by being Best In Show Puppy and after that it continued the same way. Not once did we practice stacking or moving, she's a born natural who always does her best in the ring and has the same winning attitude as her owner/handler ;-). She has plenty of titles and we have been to our fellow Nordic countries to collect them there as well. Ever since the puppy years Kenya has been amongst the very top winners in Sweden and was awarded Basenji Puppy Bitch of the Year 2005 and Basenji Bitch of the Year 2007.

December 2008 Kenya gave birth to her first litter of three boys, read more about theme here. Just like everything else Kenya does she did this with great excellence. The puppies were born quick and without any complications and she took care of them as if she had done this a hundred times before.

Kenya now awaits a continued carreer as an undisputed mistress at Gymnasistgatan in Malmö ;-)
