| As long as I can remember we have always had
animals at home, guinea pigs, fishes, birds and cats. Later on more exotic
animals such as snakes, lizards and spiders. And dogs of course!
We have had dogs of different breeds, Welsh Springer Spaniel, German Shepherd, Dachshound and for more than 20 years it has been Dobermann that has totally dominated as my mum has been a registered breeder since 1979. |

My own show carrieer started at a very young
age. I started out by helping in the Breeders classes and then I worked my
way up to show the dogs individually as well. Today I'm a dog show freak and spend many weekends travelling to different shows with my dogs. The success has been enormous and my breeder carreer started with flying colours when my first Basenji litter was born. The siblings Kenya and Kevin have been in the absolute top ever since they entered the ring for the very first time. Hopefully their children and grandchildren will continue in the same tracks. |

| Even though the kennel prefix Kenjaali is new I'm not new as either owner or breeder of Basenjis. My first Basenji was born 1994 and the first litter saw the light 2004. Altough having many years with the breed I don't find it interesting to breed puppies to please someone else. We only plan for puppies when we want to keep one ourselves and the combination has to be outstanding. That is the reason why not that many Basenjis are named Kenjaali and I'm known to be very specific about my puppy buyers ;-) |

| I live with my boyfriend Håkan and my
four dogs in an apartment in the outskirts of Malmö, the third biggest town
of Sweden, where we have lots of green areas, promenade walks and also a
huge fenced doggie yards. Håkan is not that interested in dog shows so he usually stays at home on these occasions, but otherwise he is very involved with the dogs and has also learned a few very useful details about the breed, such as pedigrees ;-) |
