Kenya is a positive and outgoing girl that likes to show
off and she really knows how
to make the best of life.
Kenya has many and long titles from the showring, both in Sweden and other countries. Amongst others she is, to this date, the only Basenji bitch in Sweden with three Swedish Winner titles, all in a row! 2004 Kenya was awarded No 1 Basenji Puppy Bitch, 2005 and 2006 No 2 Basenji Bitch and in 2007 and 2009 Basenji Bitch of the Year. In 2009 she was Best Bitch and BOS at the Swedish Specialty. |

Faruk is a calm, self secure guy
that
lives in a pack with many Basenji
Males. He is friendly and sweet and
has an even temperament. Faruk is still a very young male who will turn two years this Winter. Yet he has had great success in both the showring and on the Lure Coursing fields. Faruk is sparesely shown, but
has
won 9 CC's, BOB, BIG-1, BIG-2 and
BIS-2
in just a few shows and in January 2010 he was awarded his final CC
to gain the Finnish Champion title. On the LC
field
he has been awarded champion
quality. |

Kenya is our home bred little princess who has grown up to a
big girl and she is now going to be
a mother for the second time. Her puppies from the first litter are
all beautiful, sweet and loveable guys, more more about
them here! Ever since the puppy years Kenya
has been amongst the very top winners in Sweden and has also great
success in Denmark and Norway. At home Kenya
is totally spoiled, but a very delightful and sweet Basenji. Kenya
is very adaptable and plays along whatever you ask of her. Easy
going and mischevious at the same time, just like a Basenji should
be! Kenya has a pedigree with many well known and succesful dogs in it, her mother was Best Bitch at the Norwegian Specialty and her father was Best In Show at the Swedish Specialty. Older relatives also has been awarded their share of success, see pedigree further down the page. But titles isn't all, nice temperaments has also been passed on for generations and especially temperament is important in this breed, being an original breed with everything that follows. |

A few years ago I judged a so called Virtual Dog show and I totally fell in love with a tricolour Basenji male. AmCh Penda Taji's Triumphant One, Shadow, is his name and today he has kids, grandkids and great grandkids all over the world. To my big luck Faruk lives not too far away from us and he has a double set of above mentioned dog in his pedigree. When it turns out that Faruk is a calm, cool guy with heart, brains and looks my choice wasn't too hard. Faruks relatives has won success in the showrings all over the world and several of his cousins, aunts, uncles, grandmothers and so on is at the absoslute top in the US and Europe. |

I'm not in a hurry when it comes to breeding my dogs and when a breeding plan has been made it is only because I believe so much in the combination that I'm willing to keep a puppy. In my world there is no other way! As a breeder you want to improve the breed (I hope!), both mentally and exterior and to be able to reach your long term goals you have to think that the material is really good enough. Want to
